Violencia y salud mental: “Los municipios deben dar acompañamiento psicológico a las familias”

Nakazaki manifestó que se debe cuidar la salud mental para desterrar a la violencia de nuestra sociedad.

En relación a los casos de violencia que se han estado presentando durante el 2018, el abogado César Nakazaki apuntó que, en esta época electoral, debemos reflexionar sobre la responsabilidad que tienen los alcaldes de velar por la salud mental de las familias.
 
 “¿Quién debería garantizar un acompañamiento psicológico a todas las familias de la comuna? El Alcalde, esa autoridad cercana que puede garantizar, en alianza con colegios de psicólogos, facultades de psicología y el Minsa, que las familias tengan un acompañamiento y tratamiento psicológico y psiquiátrico si es necesario”, sostuvo.
 
De acuerdo al penalista, la Municipalidad “no es solo para hacer puentes o pistas, o arreglar el transporte”, sino que “tiene que garantizar el barrio seguro y un barrio seguro es un barrio no violento”.
 
No obstante, Nakazaki comentó que el cuidado de la salud mental no es la única política de prevención que se debe tomar, pero que debe marcar el punto de partida para combatir la violencia.
 
“Arranquemos por ahí y luego hablemos de la política cultural o educativa. Si no hay salud mental no hay futuro y solamente cuidando la salud mental se logrará desterrar la violencia”, sentenció.
