Nakazaki analizó los grandes retos que tendrá el nuevo Fiscal de Nación, a quien deseó el mejor de los éxitos en su gestión.
A propósito de la designación de Pedro Chávarry como nuevo Fiscal de la Nación, el abogado César Nakazaki comentó que tendrá retos muy importantes por superar y decisiones trascendentes que tomar para demostrar que el sistema de justicia es el llamado a atender y solucionar los problemas que reclama la sociedad, más aún en los casos emblemáticos.
En este sentido, el penalista explicó que entre los desafíos que debe afrontar el fiscal Chávarry, tendrá que continuar con el “el esfuerzo de institucionalización o reinstitucionalización del Ministerio Público”, así como “consolidar las investigaciones Lava Jato, que vienen muy atrasadas”.
Respecto al caso Lava Jato, resaltó que aún no existe una sola investigación en el ámbito penal y que la mayoría se encuentra en una etapa preliminar. Según Nakazaki, esto se explicaría por 3 razones: Deficientes mecanismos de cooperación penal en materia internacional; inadecuado uso del mecanismo de colaboración eficaz; y falta de infraestructura y/o logística (autonomía presupuestal y generación de recursos).
Finalmente, exhortó al nuevo Fiscal de la Nación a cubrir la falta de comunicación que existe con la sociedad, con la finalidad de que conozca el rol que cumple y cómo funcionan los procedimientos del sistema de justicia peruano.
