César Nakazaki manifestó que la defensa que iniciará a favor del expresidente Pedro Pablo Kuczynski estará enfocada en probar su inocencia y demostrar que el exjefe de Estado jamás tuvo relación con la empresa brasilera Odebrecht.
César Nakazaki manifestó que la defensa que iniciará a favor del expresidente Pedro Pablo Kuczynski estará enfocada en probar su inocencia y demostrar que el exjefe de Estado jamás tuvo relación con la empresa brasilera Odebrecht. Nakazaki refirió que el impedimento de salida que dictó el Ministerio Público en contra de Kuczynski Godard solo debió aplicarse en caso de existir un proceso penal abierto, sin embargo, en el caso de PPK, eso aún no era factible porque se encuentran en etapa de investigación. A pesar de ello, las autoridades ya han aplicado esa figura legal.
Por otro lado, el jurista indicó que ha sido notificado de que PPK estaba siendo investigado de manera secreta, por lo que el allanamiento de las viviendas del exmandatario no se ajustaba a derecho, no obstante, no discutirá sobre ese tema porque probar la inocencia de Kuczynski es su prioridad a pesar de las irregularidades cometidas, puesto que si deciden aplicar los mecanismos procesales adecuados podrían evitar un extenso proceso. Finalmente, Nakazaki sostuvo que su defendido y él colaborarán con la justicia para probar que ninguno de sus actos como ministro o premier estuvieron manchados por actos de corrupción.
