Estuvo a cargo de la defensa del exjefe de Estado durante el juicio por los casos Barrios Altos y La Cantuta.
El expresidente Alberto Fujimori anunció que César Nakazaki ha vuelto a ser su defensa legal en los diversos casos que tiene pendiente.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter, el exjefe de Estado agradeció el apoyo profesional de Nakazaki, en las circunstancias que se encuentra atravesando.
"A partir del día de hoy (domingo) he encargado al doctor César Nakazaki asumir mi defensa legal en los casos que tengo pendientes. Agradezco su apoyo profesional en un momento tan complejo para mi familia", escribió.
Como se recuerda, César Nakazaki fue abogado de Alberto Fujimori durante el juicio por los casos Barrios Altos y La Cantuta, debido a los cuales, recibió una condena de 25 años de prisión. Este abogado deberá continuar la labor emprendida por su colega Miguel Pérez Arroyo, quien estuvo a cargo de los casos del exmandatario.

Posteriormente de este anuncio, el expresidente Ollanta Humala -a través de las redes sociales- informó que César Nakasaki dejó de ser su defensa.
