El periodista Raúl Tola se pronunció sobre la posibilidad de otorgarle el indulto humanitario al exgeneral del Ejército, Nicolás de Bari Hermoza Ríos, quien se encuentra recluido en el penal de máxima seguridad de Piedras Gordas.

Para el comunicador, la salud de Hermoza Ríos es lamentable porque permanece postrado en cama, con diversas enfermedades crónicas que son consecuencia de los años de carcelería. Además, con 82 años a cuestas ya no puede valerse por sí mismo y tiene que ser atendido por un reo. Debido a estos problemas Tola sostiene: "ha llegado el momento de debatir en serio el indulto para Nicolás de Bari Hermoza Ríos, y en última instancia otorgárselo".
