las declaraciones de los testigos que se encuentran en Brasil deben someterse al procedimiento de cooperación penal internacional
El penalista César Nakazaki señaló que las declaraciones de los testigos del caso Odebrecht que se encuentran en Brasil, deben someterse al procedimiento de cooperación penal internacional. Solo de esta manera se iniciaría el proceso para citar a los testigos, tomar sus declaraciones y usarlos en los juicios peruanos.
Sin embargo, para Nakazaki el Perú enfrenta un problema puesto que para obtener los testimonios de los brasileros, cada fiscal del caso Lavajato debe hacer una solicitud a la unidad de cooperación internacional e iniciar un largo proceso jurídico. Asimismo, sostuvo que si los fiscales interrogan a los testigos sobre Ollanta Humala, Keiko Fujimori o Alan García, los abogados de cada uno de ellos deben estar presentes, de lo contrario las declaraciones no tendrían ningún valor.
