César Nakazaki manifestó que la investigación en contra del ministro del Interior, Carlos Basombrío, por el pase a retiro de 39 generales de la Policía Nacional en setiembre del 2016, no debería ser mediante una denuncia constitucional porque no existe ningún delito de función.
En ese sentido, Nakazaki manifestó que el Congreso debe iniciar una investigación sobre la salida de los mandos policiales y si estos se ajustaban a la ley.
